Audemars Piguet QEII Cup 2010

The Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth II Cup is a Group 1 Race and is also won of the biggest races of the season in Hong Kong at Sha Tin Racecourse. The distance of the race is 2000 metres and it is arranged and organised by the Hong Kong Jockey Club like all the big races held at Sha Tin.

The race itself used to be held at the Happy Valley Racecourse and was first held in honour of Queen Elizabeth II when she was on a state visit to Hong Kong and it has evolved from there. It was of course moved to Sha Tin and has become one of the biggest single races in Hong Kong and is one that punters from around the globe love to get involved with.

We will be placing all the odds for the big race right here in the build up to the race which is normally held in April of each year so be sure to keep your eyes peeled. Recent winners include Viva Pataca who has been one of the finest horses in Hong Kong over recent years with the winner in 2009 being Presvis.

Presvis will be heading back to Sha Tin this Saturday with the aim of repeating that success, Ryan Moore is heading to Hong Kong to take the ride for Luca Cumani and he will go off well backed. He will face off against Viva Pataca and Collection who are both dangerous opponents and legends over in Hong Kong.
