Hong Kong Vase Odds
The Hong Kong Vase is one of the four big Group1 races that that take place at Sha Tin on Hong Kong International Races day in mid December of each year. The day has taken the unofficial name of the 'World Turf Championships' due to the quality of the fields in the races as well as the varying distances in each renewal which means they are open to most top horses.
The Hong Kong Vase itself takes place over 2400 metres and it is open for horses aged three-years-old and over and tends to attract some star horses and jockeys.
The Hong Kong Vase is now almost here and the betting is hotting with some top horses involved at Sha Tin on International Race Day. Viva Pataca is a Hong Kong Legend having won countless Group 1 races at Sha Tin including the Hong Kong Gold cup in 2008 and 2009 and is the warm favourite to win this one. Heading over from Europe is Youmzain who is a three time runner-up in the Prix De L'Arc De Triomphe and is also well fancied here.

Famous winners over recent seasons include Ouija Board who took the Vase in 2005 with Kieren Fallon on board and she was an Epsom Oaks winner the year previous. Doctor Dino has the won the race foe the last two years with Olivier Peslier taking the mount both times
