Hong Kong Champions and Chater Cup
The all important third and final leg of the Hong Kong Triple Crown is the Champions and Chater Cup which tends to take place late on in May at Sha Tin and could well be the moment of glory for a horse who has won the Stewards Cup and the Hong Kong Gold Cup. It is ran over 2400 metres so any horse wanting to win here will need to be a dogged stayer on the turf ground and is open to horses aged three and older.
Any horse who has won either of the first two legs of the Triple Crown will nearly always show up for the Champions and Chater Cup because there is a huge cash bonus on offer to the owners of a horse that wins either two or three of the races. this means that all eyes will be on Sha tin for the race as they can be a lot of money riding on the winner in terms of the Hong Kong Betting and in terms of prize money for the horses.
As the race gets close we will have all the odds for the Champions and Chater Cup right here for you to study so you can pick your Hong Kong Bet for the race. we will also have the full list of runners in the race so you can be sure we will have all the bases covered for this one.
